Easy Towing may collect information that you provide directly, information generated when you use the app, and information required to provide roadside assistance services.
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, profile information, login method, and account role such as customer or driver.
- Service request information: pickup location, destination, vehicle information, service type, request status, trip history, driver offers, and service notes.
- Driver information: driver profile, vehicle details, license or verification documents, vehicle photos, payment preferences, ratings, and service history.
- Device and technical information: device type, operating system, app version, push notification token, crash information, IP address, and usage data.
- Communications: messages, support requests, ratings, reviews, and communications between users and drivers when available in the platform.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, improve, protect, and personalize Easy Towing services.
- To create and manage user and driver accounts.
- To connect customers with nearby towing and roadside assistance providers.
- To show real-time service status, driver location, and estimated arrival information.
- To process payments, service balances, refunds, cancellations, and transaction records.
- To send notifications related to requests, offers, driver arrival, trip status, account security, and support.
- To improve safety, prevent fraud, troubleshoot issues, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- To comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.
3. Location Data
Easy Towing uses location data to provide core roadside assistance features. Customers may share their location to request help, and drivers may share location while online, accepting service requests, or completing active trips.
Location data may be used to match customers with nearby drivers, display maps, calculate routes, support live tracking, improve dispatch, prevent fraud, and provide service history. Some location features may not work correctly if location permission is disabled.
For drivers, location may be collected while the app is active and, where permitted by the device and user settings, while the driver is online or handling an active service request.
4. Photos, Camera, and Files
Easy Towing may request access to your camera or photo library so users and drivers can upload relevant images, such as profile photos, vehicle photos, license or verification documents, tow truck photos, service condition photos, or trip-related images.
Uploaded images may be used for identity verification, driver approval, service documentation, dispute resolution, safety review, and customer support.
5. Payments
Easy Towing may offer multiple payment options, including card payments, Google Pay, Zelle, Cash, Klarna, or other supported payment methods. Payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe or other payment partners.
We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own privacy policies and security standards.
6. Third-Party Services
Easy Towing may use third-party services to operate the platform, including Google Sign-In, Google Maps, Firebase, Supabase, Stripe or payment processors, Meta, Google Ads, and analytics tools.
These providers may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, maintain financial records, and improve platform safety. Some information may be anonymized rather than deleted.
9. Account and Data Deletion
Users may request account deletion or data deletion by contacting support@easytowing.app. We may need to verify the request before deleting data.
After verification, we will delete or anonymize personal information where possible, except information that must be retained for legal, tax, fraud prevention, payment, safety, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
If the app includes an in-app delete account option, users may also use that option to initiate account deletion.
10. Children’s Privacy
Easy Towing is not intended for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us at support@easytowing.app.
